Especially for sea watching but also for land based birds. The monopod is useful aid when sitting in a bird hide. Not tried it on a Pelagic yet but imagine that’s where it really helps to have an image stabilised view. Been using it each day for over a week now and charge has not run out yet. If you’ve got £2k to spend would highly recommend it for birding.
These binoculars are a great step up from my previous ones. Images are bright and clear. The focusing ring is so smooth too. James from Stealth Birding was most helpful when I corresponded with him via Email. Definitely recommended.
Instructions are simple as are the control buttons - nicely ergonomic. The plastic body seems a bit on the light side, but that would be an advantage if holding it for an extended period. A minor niggle is the screen brightness (despite 5 settings). I find that quite fatiguing on the eye. The night vision is startling good.

For people like me that use binos by the sea a lot, rainguards are essential to keep them clean for sharp viewing.These guards are quite shallow and are easy to remove when you need to do so very quickly, but if they are sized correctly they stay put when needed. The connecting part is nice and flexible which makes things easier too, as well as being very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Not cheap, but what a clever design! It provides ample storage and extra stability to my Benro carbon fibre 3 legged tripod. Very impressed with the quality of manufacture.
My old binoculars 10x50 must be 45 years old.. and like holding two bricks..
Now retired I treated myself to the NATURE RAY Trailbird 8x42 Green binoculars... just so light and comfortable to hold with a great field of view and just so clear....
And at a really reasonable price money definitely we'll spent....
