Avalon Discovery 8x21 Pocket Binoculars

Already have a heavy pair of Zeiss jenoptem bins which are good but wanted small, light pair to keep near armchair to watch garden birds. Took me a few days to get used to the Avalons. Found the neck strap a bit annoying and I cannot see how it is attached or can be easily detached or replaced when it wears. Nevertheless the bins grew on me and became better the more I used them. Good and clear at a reasonable price. Satisfied with purchase now.

Satisfied with the binoculars but unsatisfactory delivery from DPD. DPD did not manage to successfully deliver over three days, I had to drive around our village to find the DPD van and obtain the package.

For the size and price extremely good. I found them easy to use and very clear over middle distances in daylight, less good in low light. Good buy.
