The belt strap fitted is sized for the Kite APC 60 ED eye piece. Spare belt is provided to cut to length if you need to fit to a different diameter eyepiece. The design ensures a secure and consistent attachment to the scope.
The magnetic attachment of the phone to the adapter enables you to consistently and easily remove and refit the phone to the position you have set the adapter to, and therein lies the big problem.
I found it extremely difficult to adjust the adapter to get the phone in the correct position to look down the scope and best achieved with help.
Tighten the adjustment carrier screw until it slightly grips the phone holder.
Move the phone / carrier until it is looking down the scope correctly (easier said than done)
Get your assistant to tighten the adjustment carrier screw.
Unfortunately this may well result in the camera lens no longer looking correctly down the scope so you will have to slightly loosen the adjustment screw, reposition the phone and retighten the screw again until you get the camera lens in the correct position.
If the adapter had seperate x and y direction adjustment screws then the adapter would be perfect.
