Levenhuk Vegas ED 10x50 Monocular
Waterproof body and extra-low dispersion optics. Magnification: 10x. Objective lens diameter: 50mm
10 - The magnification ratio indicates the degree of proximity of an object.
50 - The lens diameter refers to the size of the front lens of the device in millimeters. The larger the aperture is, the less sensitive the device will be to external light.
ED - What monocular lenses and prisms are made of and what affects the image quality.
Levenhuk Vegas ED 10x50 is a high-class monocular that uses lenses made of extra-low dispersion glass. They deliver a sharp and contrast image, prevent optical aberrations, and allow for observing the world in natural colors. The monocular is ideal for observing nature, studying urban landscapes, and watching sports competitions at a stadium. Demanding customers and people who use a monocular for professional activities will appreciate the capabilities of this optical tool.
Lightweight water-resistant shell filled with nitrogen
The monocular is filled with nitrogen, a colorless gas that prevents the lenses from fogging. Abrupt temperature changes do not result in optics' fogging, which is why this monocular is unaffected by observations held in extreme weather conditions. It is impervious to snow, rain, and even survives falling in water for a short time. Hermetically sealed shell securely protects the optics and mechanical parts from water penetration.
The monocular can be attached to a tripod, if necessary.
Features:
- Extra-low dispersion optics
- Fully multi-coated optical surfaces
- Water-resistant shell is made of lightweight plastic; there is a rubber eyecup
- Adaptable to a tripod
- Stylish gift box
The kit includes:
- Monocular
- Pouch
- Eyepiece and objective lens caps
- Cleaning wipe
- Strap
- User manual
IPx7 waterproof shell
The monocular is impervious to rain and snow. It will not be damaged from falling in a pond or lake. The nitrogen-filled shell protects the optical elements from fogging.
*IPx7 code means that the optical instrument is protected if it is partly or briefly immersed into water up to 1m deep.
Extra-low dispersion optics eliminates a delivered image from parasitic halos that appear in the edges of the images because of light refraction peculiarities. Chromatic aberrations eliminate across the entire field of view as well as in the center and edges. The monocular provides 10x magnification, its objective lens works perfectly in low light conditions. It gathers a lot of light and, therefore, the image remains clear and contrast even during observations in twilight or cloudy weather. The optics focus on any objects located at a distance of two meters or farther, which allows for observing even indoors. Long eye relief is practical for glasses wearers as it is unnecessary to put them off to use the optical tool.
Eye Glass Friendly
Levenhuk Vegas ED 10x50 Monocular features long eye relief that makes observations extremely comfortable, especially for those who wear glasses.
Moreover, the eyecup is made of rubber and you can easily extend it to achieve the most comfortable observing position
- Long eye relief
- Twist-up eyecup
Swift focusing with one hand
The design of this monocular allows you to quickly focus the view with just one hand – the focusing wheel is located right in the center of the instrument.
Rigid zip case in the kit
The monocular comes with a durable case for storage and transportation that securely protects it from accidental damage, dirt and dust.
Adaptable to a tripod
You can mount Levenhuk Vegas ED 10x50 Monocular on a tripod for observations at high magnification to avoid the natural shaking of hands.
High aperture objective lens
50mm objective lens made of ED glass extra-low dispersion works perfectly in low light conditions. It gathers a lot of light and, therefore, the image remains clear and contrast even during observations in twilight or cloudy weather.
