Handmade Wooden Owl Box

Whilst we've been designing bird box cameras for years, we also want to help you get the best shots of wildlife in your area. Because of this, we've teamed up with our friends over at Riverside Woodcraft in order to create specially designed habitats for a wide range of wildlife. This wooden owl box is a great example. It's been handmade by their expert artisans in order to provide a perfect habitat for native owl species such as Little Owls, Kestrels and Stock Doves. 

For best results install the box at quite a height (at least 3 metres above ground) on a mature tree with good visibility.

Constructed from timber that's specially treated with varnish and wax, ensuring that it can be permanently installed in an exposed location without being damaged by the elements. All timber treatments are also safe for animals
