upgrading to something newer - took these on advice - noticed the brighter image straight away - case and strap of good quality and compact - the website was easy to use - full of good info - order came well packed and very quickly - will get plenty of use as the year progresses

Stealth we're the cheapest by far for the binoculars i wanted by at least £30. Also they included a free gift of a cleaning kit for them. Extremely happy.

Many years ago I bought a high quality pair of Bressor nautical binoculars which have stood the test of time. However, these days I’m more of a land lubber and found that the Bressors, which are fixed focus, are not so useful for use on land. After trawling the web I came upon this site which seemed exactly the sort of enthusiast run organization which I applaud… the website’s a joy to use with good background information to enable an informed buying decision.
The binoculars arrived punctually via our post man which is always reassuring as he knows exactly where we are, unlike many courier companies, in a most timely manner. The presentation of the GPOs is gorgeous and make a very nice gift indeed.
As for the glasses, I couldn’t be happier. They are light in use with superb bright imaging with little or no chroma that I can detect. The field of view is far better than my old glasses and the image sharper too. The focuser has a reassuringly smooth action, slightly damped, and the hard case looks and feels strong enough to withstand anything short of chucking them off a roof top.
All in all, a very impressive pair of binoculars which I have no doubt will give many years of good service. Thank you Stealth Birding for an excellent product.

I purchased these binoculars as my old pair were a few years old and decided to treat myself
Ordering was easy and delivery was quite fast. The quality of everything is great, including the box they come in.
My first reaction when I picked them up was how heavy they were compared to my old binoculars but I have not noticed this to be an issue since and with the wide padding on the strap they were easier to wear than my old ones. The view through the lenses is very good but I have not tried in low level light yet so can not comment. Overall a very nice pair of binoculars and I would recommend them.

Really pleased with the purchase, incredibly clear view, and great in low light; carry case very sturdy. At the price point I doubt you will find better.

Whilst these binoculars aren’t my first, they are far away the best pair I’ve had the pleasure to look through.
I chose the passion ED 10x42 after researching my options. These are mid priced binoculars that don’t disappoint, packaging doesn’t normally impress me but even this has been done to a very high standard. The binoculars are fantastic, and I hope to enjoy them for many years to come.
Focusing wheel is smooth but not so light that you can’t keep focus, the diopter range is good and my range was found quickly to be just on the plus side this adjustment won’t easily get moved , again the wheel is smooth but nice and tight.
The eye cups with or without my glasses feel great with three positions low with my glasses and the third position out without was most comfortable for me.
Again I usually don’t review until I’ve had something for a year or two but this purchase has given me Joy.

I needed an upgrade on my old binoculars and spent a while looking at reviews on various sites. Stealth birding had excellent reviews and you received a free gift as well. The GPO Passion ED 10X42 Binoculars are so good and the clarity excellent. They are not too heavy and come in a good case. Can’t wait for the good weather to come to use them.

Always coped with good lower end binoculars… until now! My wife bought these for my 60th birthday.
Opened them at our lodge on Anglesey. Wow! The presentation is great, the feel is great and the clarity is stunning. My wife tells me that the delivery was rapid and the packaging was very robust and secure.

Was looking to upgrade my binoculars and took a punt on these based on the number of positive views on the Internet. I am not disappointed! Fantastic clarity and a good sturdy feel about them, they’ll probably outlast me!
Even if these are not the binos for you, then see what else Stealth Birding have available because I throughly recommend purchasing from them, they provide a great service.

I am very pleased with the GPO Passion ED 10x42 binoculars. Beautifully made and superb quality of image in use-makes me wonder what could be better about the binos that are twice or three times the price. Very bright -due to the 90% light transmission. Delighted with my purchase. They arrived very quickly-inside 48 hrs-and were well packaged. Best price on the internet too. Recommended.

brilliant binoculars and service

Re a recently purchased pair of GPO Passion ED 10x42 binoculars (green). Having looked at numerous adverts for binoculars for birdwatching - the choice is almost overwhelming - and read so many reviews, including exactly who manufactures what, I finally opted for a pair by German Precision Optics. They are excellent - optically bright, sharp, and clear - a big plus to me, being short-sighted and a glasses wearer. And they happen to look good too - very nicely designed. I can now see all the small details on birds which I couldn't before with my old 8x40 by a different (much cheaper) manufacturer. Excellent service too from Stealth Birding - good price - arrived quickly, and were well packed.

An excellent piece of kit. Really sharp image you would expect from binoculars twice the price. Shopped around to try to find a cheaper price but couldn't beat Stealth Birding.
