BEYOND LIMITS, BEYOND TRADITIONS

The world’s leading combo in optical and ergonomical performance.

The optical characteristics of the KITE LYNX HD + range are truly unique and a result of state of the art engineering. This instrument is conceived to offer a perfectly natural colour rendition and wide angle views that no other binoculars will match. The exceptional wide angle view will allow you to make faster observations and determinations, and will elevate viewing comfort and quality of image perception to unseen levels.

Due to the revolutionary optical system Kite optics has created, the LYNX HD + literally is made to be suited in all conditions and circumstances. This instrument goes beyond the limits of any other binocular and brings you great advantage when observing on both long and short distances. You will see faster on long distances with little points of reference, such as observation of birds in the sky or over sea. You will oversee an increased amount of details and therefore also on shorter distances and in denser areas such as forests, you will have better orientation capability, see faster, and catch the important details out of centre-image that would otherwise be missed.

The LYNX HD + is truly amazing , because in spite of all its optical technology, it is one of the smallest and lightest binoculars ever made. The LYNX HD + 30mm class is that compact, it fits the pockets of your vest. The LYNX HD + 50mm class, that is built for top light performance, is no bigger or heavier than most 42mm binoculars on the market, and offers and equally large field of view. For the first time ever, you can enjoy the amazing high light gathering capabilities of large diameter binoculars, without the traditional downsides such as weight, size and a small field.

The LYNX HD + genuinely goes beyond limits, and even beyond traditions.

Very clear

These are much better than my previous binoculars. It shows that "you get what you pay for". I am very pleased with them.

Quality Optics worth the money

At first I baulked a little at the price tag but I know that in life most of the time you only get what you pay for. These Binoculars are a huge step up from my much cheaper 8x30 Nikons in terms of build quality, image brightness and colour and I am very pleased with my purchase. The free gift I chose was the harness and pouch which is a little bit of a tight fit but does the job adequately.

Excellent clarity in low light

I thought I would simply love these binoculars, but comparing to my cheaper Barr & Stroud 12 X 56 set, the only benefit perceivable to me is that these are much lighter, and the smaller magnification means the image a bit steadier. Paying around 3 times the price, I was hoping these would blow my mind, but we have to accept limitations posed by physics and that I have colour vision weakness. The build quality feels better than my Barr & Stroud, but only time will tell. The Barr & Stroud have gone through some tough times in bumpy dusty terrain.
Don't get me wrong, these are an excellent set of binoculars. Low light capability is great with the large 50mm glass. However, I cannot honestly say I feel that these are amazing enough to warrant paying such a price. I am also disappointed by the warranty, which seems impressive at first - 30 years. This only covers manufacturing defects. Other high value binoculars come with better warranty terms, even covering some accidental damage.

Kite Lynx HD+ 10x50

Stealth Birding offers all the advantages of a retail shop, with old-fashioned customer service rather than volume sales at the heart of their work. The website is excellent: uncluttered, unfussy and effective. E-mail communication is very prompt indeed and advice is offered in a friendly, no-pressure way, both by e-mail and on the phone. The products have been chosen to offer top quality across a range of budgets. Prices are keen and good quality freebies add to the value. Dispatch and delivery are also fast. It was a pleasure buying two pairs of binoculars from a real birders’ shop. These binoculars are super. I was undecided about the 10x50 spec but the things I was concerned about - bulk, weight, field of view and image brightness - are really fine.

Amazing personal service and a quality product

I've got to say that James from Stealth Birding is right on the case to make sure that any enquiries or problems that you may have are dealt with immediately and helpfully. A really good service. I would really recommend purchasing from his site. The Lynx HD 10x50 Binos are very good indeed. I have a Zeiss Victory 8X42 which are my benchmark and you can see that the Lynx don't have the same quality of build. But the optics are amazing in low light. The image is not as immersive and 3d as the Victory's, but sometimes when you need that extra detail, I will go with the Lynx. I got the Victory's for a bargain price - and today, I must admit they would be outside my budget. In terms of Value for Money and general wildlife purposes, I would go with the Lynx's.
