In-Line Power
Includes an optional 12-volt power supply or can be used in-line with our 12-volt cameras. Just connect it in between the camera and power supply. For cameras of other voltages, you will need to run a separate power supply (power cable extension cables are available from the drop-down menu).
Please note: it is highly important to install the lamp during the setup of the box and camera, not after when the animals are already settled in. Disturbing a nest will most likely cause the parents to abandon the nest.

12-volt cameras | Choose No Power Supply

Our WiFi Bird Box Cameras are 12-volt cameras and the lamp can be powered 'inline', therefore choose No Power Supply before adding to the basket.
8-volt cameras | Choose Include Power Supply
Product codes beginning with NC701, CMOSNC.
Some of our cameras are 8-volt and therefore the lamp needs a different power supply to power it. Please choose Include Power Supply before adding to the basket.
HD Wired IP Camera

If you are powering the camera using the included PoE power supply or via your own PoE kit then you can use the DC 12V connector on the camera to power the lamp. If you are powering the camera using a standard 12-volt power supply you can power the lamp inline. In either case, choose No Power Supply before adding to the basket.
More Information
Our popular wildlife cameras are already capable of capturing amazing close-up views of the animals, but there is a chance that the box itself is just naturally a bit dark inside. Our cameras can get past this thanks to the built-in night vision but this produces black and white images. If you want to see the full, colourful detail of the baby birds’ growing feathers or the spikes of your huddled hedgehog, for example, we recommend shedding some extra light in the box with an additional daytime lamp.
This lamp provides plenty of illumination for the camera to capture colour daytime images without having to switch to night vision. Importantly, it has a built-in photometer, which switches of the light when outdoor light levels drop. This means the light is off at nighttime, so it won't disturb the sleep cycles of your nesting animals.
Using this lamp is much better than making a hole or window in the habitat, as that could expose the animals far too much and can cause overheating. Whereas the animals won’t even notice the tiny lamp, as it only comes on during the day when it is already daylight outside and it is natural for birds and hedgehogs to see light.
Our daylight LED lamp is designed to be fitted inside our wildlife habitats, such as all the bird boxes and hedgehog houses. One lamp will be more than enough to provide sufficient lighting for colourful, pin-sharp recordings.

If, for any reason you feel unhappy and unsatisfied with your purchase, or simply no longer want the requested goods, we offer you a 60-day money back guarantee.
The guarantee is only applicable under two conditions though:
- The items in question must be in a new and unused condition
- The items must be complete with all packaging as it was during delivery and the packaging must be undamaged. Please securely package the product you wish to return within an outer box. Do not write or place shipping labels or stickers on the manufacturer’s packaging.
In case you want to return the purchased goods for a refund, you must adhere to the preset refund protocols.
First, you must inform us about your intentions through writing via sales@stealthbirding.com or via post. Second, we must receive and accept your request for refund before you return the goods. After the request has been received, accepted and authorized, you must deliver the goods no longer than 60 working after the original purchase date. If you fail to find a workable solution, contact us so we can discuss the problem and make arrangements for return.
Whenever a fault occurs within the first 60 days of purchase, you will have a choice of either a refund or a replacement.
In cases the fault occurs within the stipulated warranty period but after the first 60 days, you have the option of requesting for the faulty product to be repaired. In this situation, we will send the item away for repair. In the situation when the repair is unsuccessful, you will receive a replacement.
