Wildlife cameras not only provide foresters and with important information. But scouting cams also help landowners to protect their property and guard against theft, vandalism or litterers. Whether it's stray game or a sneaking burglar, the videos and photos from the new Scouting Cam Black800 from BRAUN Photo Technik can record all events in 4K resolution and with sound. 

The recordings can be stored on a microSD memory card with up to 512GB. In addition, the new wildlife camera also has a USB-C slot for connection to a PC and TV.

The exact resolution of the photos and videos can be set via the integrated 2.4” TFT color display, as can numerous other parameters. The recordings can also be conveniently viewed and controlled via the color display. The video resolution can also vary from 4K at 10 fps, 2.7K at 20fps to 1080p at 30fps and lower.

Users can also individually select the image resolution between 32 and 1MP. The Braun Scouting Cam Black800 has three different sensitivities of the PIR motion sensor with a detection angle of 110 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 15 meters and a trigger time of around 0.2 seconds.

The Black800 also has an integrated microphone, a loudspeaker, password protection, a time-lapse mode and an indication of the date, time, moon phase and temperature. With the help of the continuous recording function, the camera can continue recording even when the memory card is full by overwriting the oldest files. The continuous recording function can also be deactivated. Thanks to a mounting strap, the robust and splash-proof (IP66) wildlife camera can be easily attached to the desired location. The wildlife camera weighs just 260 grams.

The operating temperatures range from -20°C to +50°C. The standby time is around twelve months. Power is supplied by eight AA batteries or optionally via a 6V 1.5A mains adapter.
