The Braun Scouting Cam Black550 has a 5MP CMOS sensor for high-quality day and night recordings. The recordings can be saved on an SD memory card (max. 256GB). In addition, the wildlife camera also has a USB-C slot for connection to a PC and TV.


The exact resolution of the photos and videos, like numerous other parameters, can be set using the integrated control panel and the 2 “TFT LCD color display. The recordings can also be conveniently viewed on the color display. The video resolution can vary from 4K (at 20fps) up to 1080p, 720p or 480p (each 30fps). The image resolution can be changed between 50 to 1MP. The Braun Scouting Cam Black550 has three different sensitivities of the PIR motion sensor with a detection angle of 120 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 20 meters and a trigger time of just 0.5 seconds.


In addition, the Black550 has an integrated microphone, password protection, a time-lapse mode, as well as an indication of date, time, moon phase and temperature. Thanks to a mounting strap, the robust and dust and water protected (IP65) wildlife camera can be easily attached to the desired location.


The operating temperatures range from -20 ° C to + 70 ° C. The standby time is around six months. Power is supplied by eight AA batteries or optionally by a 6V 1.5A power supply unit.
