To withstand the rigors of constant use out of doors, the chassis is wrapped in a protective rubber armor with textured palm pads and thumb-grooves that ensure a comfortable and secure grip in extreme weather conditions like rain, snow and frigid cold. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes. For comfortable use Carson includes a harness for the binoculars that transfes the optic's weight from the neck to the shoulders, and for maximum protection and security, their BinoArmor case is designed to stay on the binoculars and opens quickly, completely, and silently for fast use.
